StorageVault Canada (SVI-T) has nominated Milton Lamb to its board of directors, a move expected to be approved at its upcoming AGM in May.
Lamb is the president, CEO and a trustee of Automotive Properties REIT (APR-UN-T) and has over 30 years of experience in the Canadian commercial real estate industry.
That experience includes time with some of its largest global real estate service companies including CBRE, Jones Lang Wootton (JLL) and, most recently, Colliers International. At Colliers, Lamb was chair of national investment services and represented Canada on Colliers Global Investment Services and Colliers Investment Services Group (U.S.A.).
Lamb is an institute-certified director with the Institute of Corporate Directors.
In addition, Benjamin Harris has indicated he will not stand for re-election after serving on the board since 2020.
Dhaliwal takes development role at Morguard
Morguard has named Nicholas Dhaliwal as its new director of development, Western Canada, adding an executive who has spent his entire career working in the region.
Dhaliwal moved to Morguard from Vancouver’s Beedie, where he had spent over six years, most recently as its director, residential developments. Previously, Dhaliwal had spent over three years at Streetside Developments, after stints at WBI Home Warranty and the Association of Neighbourhood Houses of B.C. earlier in his career.
Dhaliwal is a graduate of UBC Sauder School of Business in urban land economics, land use planning and management/development, as well as Langara College’s post-degree applied planning program and the University of British Columbia, where he earned a BA in human geology.
Steinertas to succeed Wong at Gulf and Pacific
Toronto-based Gulf and Pacific Equities has appointed Daniel Steinertas as chief financial officer, effective May 1 and subject to regulatory approvals.
Steinertas has over 14 years of financial and real estate experience, including roles in investment analysis, mortgage financing and real estate operations.
He is to succeed Greg K.W. Wong, who will retire as chief financial officer, effective April 30, after more than 21 years of service to the company. Wong will continue to serve as a director and corporate secretary to Gulf and Pacific.

Seliskar new life sciences head at JLL
JLL has hired Mark Seliskar to lead its life sciences operations across the Canadian region.
In this role, he will bring his expertise in pharmaceutical and life sciences facilities management to support clients navigating complex regulatory requirements and operational challenges in highly controlled environments.
A licensed professional engineer, Seliskar will be charged with building and leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated facilities management solutions for pharmaceutical and life sciences clients. He has led engineering and maintenance departments, completed BLA submissions and FDA pre-licensing site inspections and managed operations for bio-containment facilities.
Seliskar is based in Montréal.
Prior to joining JLL, he was general manager at Sodexo Québec, where he was the subject matter expert for pharma/life sciences operations. Previously, he was senior manager of maintenance and engineering at Jubilant HollisterSteir and engineer manager/director of engineering at Telesta Therapeutics.
Seliskar succeeds Jean Francois Chapdelaine, who is retiring after being with JLL since 2009.
Grossman to lead B+H business segment
Janine Grossmann is the new senior director, business development, architecture and design at B+H Architects.
Based in Toronto, she will lead the interior design business development across the firm's Toronto and Vancouver studios. Her mandate includes advancing the interior design practice, expanding CHIL interior design's hospitality portfolio, and strengthening integrated A+D delivery across the firm.
Janine brings more than 30 years of experience shaping the strategy and design of commercial, institutional and hospitality projects ranging from 5,000 to over four million square feet. Throughout her career, she has held senior leadership roles that bridge design with business and organizational strategy — encompassing workplace strategy, change management, business development, corporate governance and organizational communications.
Grossman is the recipient of a Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC) Urban Design Award and multiple Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO) awards. A fellow and past-president of ARIDO, she remains actively engaged in advancing the profession through leadership, advocacy and mentorship.
Zottola promoted to MD of Canada ICI in Montréal
Canada ICI has promoted Stefano Zottola to managing director of the firm’s Montréal office. Zottola has been with Canada ICI for almost five years, moving up from his initial position as director of mortgage initiation to senior director of mortgage initiation and now, to the MD’s chair.
Prior to joining Canada ICI, Zottola spent over eight years at MFCI Capital as a mortgage analyst and licensed mortgage broker, after starting his career at Terramont.
Zottola is a graduate of the UBC Sauder School of Business with a post-grad certificate in real property valuation, and holds a bachelor’s of business administration from Concordia University.
Bhaura takes chair’s role at CREA
Garry Bhaura was installed as chair of the Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) during its 2026 annual general meeting.
Bhaura is a Realtor and broker-owner from Brampton, Ont., with more than 25 years of experience in real estate. He served as president of the Toronto Regional Real Estate Board (TRREB) from 2018-2019 and has contributed through various TRREB and CREA committees.
His impact has been recognized with numerous accolades, including the community service award from the Real Estate Institute of Canada.
He’s joined by fellow officers Darin Germyn, chair-elect; Luc Woolsey, vice-chair; and Valérie Paquin, immediate past chair.
