MPAC is an independent, not-for-profit corporation funded by all Ontario municipalities. Our role is to accurately assess and classify all of Ontario’s properties representing approximately $3.2 trillion in property value. We do this in compliance with the Assessment Act and regulations set by the Government of Ontario.
