Chris Powers, the founder and executive chairman at Fort Capital, joins host Chad Griffiths to take a deep dive into owning and managing class-B industrial real estate.

Powers is a serial entrepreneur with more than 18 years of real estate development and investment experience. He founded Fort Worth, Texas-based Fort Capital. To date, the company has invested over $2.1 billion US in class-B industrial, commercial, multifamily, student housing and land development projects throughout the state of Texas and the Sunbelt.
In 2016, he made the decision to focus on class-B industrial full time and that is where the firm has dedicated the majority of its resources.
Powers' role focuses on Fort’s long-term strategy, fostering strategic relationships and building capital relationships that will help complement the firm’s growth.
He is also the host of The FORT Podcast and has published 260-plus episodes to date through a series of conversations with business leaders and entrepreneurs.
A graduate of Texas Christian University, he holds a BBA in finance and marketing. He lives in Fort Worth.
