Brookfield Asset Management (BAM-T) and CPP Investments will acquire LXP Industrial (LXP-N) in all-cash deal valued at US$5.2 billion. The pension fund and companies announced this morning that a definitive merger agreement has been agreed.

AIMCo, CCMP sell BGIS to NYC-based Veritas

New York City-based Veritas Capital has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Markham, Ont.-headquartered technical integrated facilities management (IFM) services company BGIS from CCMP Capital Advisors, LP and Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo) for undisclosed financial terms.
