The Building Owners and Managers Association of Canada (BOMA Canada) held its annual national awards gala on Sept. 28 to cap off the sold-out BOMEX 2023 conference, announcing 27 award winners in a variety of categories.

The event was held at Edmonton’s JW Marriott Edmonton ICE District.

The Outstanding Building of the Year (TOBY) Awards recognize quality in commercial real estate buildings and excellence in building management.

Judging is based on a wide range of factors, including: building standards; community impact; tenant relations; energy conservation; environmental, regulatory and sustainability practices; emergency preparedness and security standards; and the training of building personnel.
