Construction of a 179-unit affordable student residence close to the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) campus has been announced, becoming the second student housing project unveiled in the city this week.
Aiming to dramatically speed up the construction process, Montreal-based student housing specialist Werkliv will build a multi-residential development using prefabricated concrete panels from a company it owns, as a pilot project.
