Cory Capland is the President and Managing Partner of Peakhill Opportunity REIT, focused on acquiring and managing income generating apartment assets across Canada. Cory has spearheaded acquisitions, financing, and recapitalizations totaling over $700 million. Cory previously served as Vice President of Investments with NorthHaven Capital, leading all transaction sourcing, underwriting and capital partner relations across two affiliate companies; Distrikt Capital (apartment and development acquisitions) and Fundamental Real Estate (specialty net lease investing in the U.S.). Cory was on the investment team at Bridgeport Asset Management, a leading Toronto-based investment firm managing discretionary HNW and UHNW capital across proprietary investment funds. Cory is a CFA Charterholder and holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration (HBBA) from Wilfrid Laurier University.
