U of T, Daniels build residential tower to ease housing crunch
The University of Toronto has reached an agreement with the City of Toronto to partner with The Daniels Corporation and build a 23-storey student residence at Spadina and Sussex avenues. “We came to a compromise that all parties can live with,” said Gilbert Delgado, U of T’s chief of university, planning, design and construction.

Oxford Properties has released the first details of its plans for its prime 30 Bay St., property in downtown Toronto. The HUB is proposed as a 1.4 million square foot office tower up to 60 storeys. UK-based Rogers Stirk Harbour + Partners is designing the striking new structure, named for its proximity to the Toronto Harbour, Union Station and Bay St.
One year ago: Milborne-led JV revives Port McNicoll resort
A partnership led by Milborne Group has purchased the Port McNicoll Resort Village property from Skyline Investments and is looking to revive the moribund project. What they’ve acquired is a massive, 1,126-acre track of prime central Ontario resort/vacation land with the potential for up to 1,800 homes and a 1,000-slip marina on Georgian Bay.
