Calgary-based Aspen Properties and Edmonton-based Rohit Group have made their second joint office acquisition in the past few months with the purchase of The District, a 360,000-square-foot mixed-use campus in the heart of Calgary’s Beltline neighbourhood, just outside the downtown core.

Hines has acquired Life Plaza, located in downtown Calgary at 734 7th Ave. S., with Timbercreek Financial continuing as a strategic lending partner. Life Plaza was previously owned by Toronto-based Slate Asset Management but was placed under receivership in June.
