Broccolini, Alta develop 17.8M sq. ft. in industrial park
Broccolini has teamed up with Alta Industrial to develop an additional 17.8 million square feet in the Alta Industrial Park in Coteau-du-Lac, about 60 km southwest of Montreal. “This should be a game-changer,” said Roger Plamondon, president of real estate development and acquisitions of Montreal-based Broccolini.
Intermodal facilities vital for GTA industrial growth
Industrial real estate is in high demand in the GTA, and properties close to intermodal facilities are particularly desirable. “Intermodal facilities serve as critical links not only for the Greater Toronto Area’s logistic supply-chain network, but for Canada’s supply-chain network overall,” said Bill Argeropoulos of Avison Young, which just released a report on intermodal logistics in the GTA.
Kabam! Vancouver Centre II office tower gets first tenant
An expanding Vancouver-based video game maker is the first tenant to lease space at the new Vancouver Centre II office tower in the city’s downtown core. Mobile game developer Kabam will occupy the bottom seven floors of the 33-storey tower being constructed at 753 Seymour St.
