A burst of hotel transaction and development activity in Canada seems to indicate the sector has returned to pre-pandemic norms, says Curtis Gallagher, principal, Canadian hospitality lead at Avison Young.
Edmonton industrial property transactions and leasing sectors are brisk as vacancy rates remain low, according to real estate experts in the region. First quarter vacancies were pegged at 3.1 per cent by CBRE and 3.8 by Colliers, the lowest since 2015.
