Granite REIT (GRT-UN-T) has acquired five U.S. properties for approximately $256.1 million, adding 1.2 million square feet of distribution facilities in Texas and Florida to its portfolio. It also acquired a U.K. property and divested three U.S. assets.
UPDATED: CPP Investments is forging a joint venture to acquire up to $3 billion in Canadian last-mile industrial properties with Dream Industrial REIT (DIR-UN-T) and Dream Asset Management Corp., the firms announced Wednesday.
